Transactions and customer balance

hi
opencart is a discount the order amount from the buyer balance if the current status is processing or complete only
How does the opponent make it in other status , for example when it is shipped status
example
If i add a balance of 100$ for a customer
Then he checkout a order with 80$ the amount will be 20$ if the current status is processing
But if i change the status to shipped or anything customer amount will the return to 100$
how can i make it not return with a specific status as Shipped
