Ok, I replaced the 2 files with the new ones and I added the Paid unconfirmed status. Is that all I need to do? The read me says
"You will find the same value in the language file supplied with this extension.
The language file must also contain a matching entry for the order status "Pending" as well."
Does this mean I have to change something else in the language file or is this already done?

There is a forum thread with discussion and patches for this here. I am sorry that I have not had time to roll them up into a new release.
