Hi, Thanks for allowing me on your forum.
I have just "finished" my site and am now looking at the huge number of mods available.
We are based in UK and site is www.twowheeljunkie.co.uk
I'm looking for:
A mod to allow me to move multiple products into catagories, this is so I can slim down the site and make life/browsing easier. I have tried "Bulk Product move categories between" but this didn't work. I am assuming this because it's for an earlier version.
A mod to generate simple meta tags/descriptions automatically ( is such a thing is possible)
Something to allow me to display a Paypal express button next to the add to cart button
A mod to allow me to Mark down whole store or categories, when I mark down items using the special price function the a count down timer is shown, I would like this on each product when marking down by catagory or store.
The other mod I would be interested in is a countdown prior to price reduction, I have see Amazon use this kind of feature a few times.
Lastly....for now
I am struggling to get my Google product feed to work, I have enabled it and popped it web url of the feed and it is showing "Failed to obtain the file information. Please make sure the file exists AND that your feed has permission to access it"
Also I need to have a readable sitemap and robot.txt file...any ideas?
Anyway, apologies for so many questions.
Many thanks
Hi there,
Just had a a quick look at at your website and was instantly impressed with it.
I have not really looked through your site. But you are using SEO URL's and also have contact address and telephone number. So all very good.
But I would say that on your contact page the Google Map is the first thing. I am not saying that its not great to have a map on the contact but I would always have it at the bottom on the page for three reasons:
1. When people are viewing your website on a smart phone then you have to scroll past it to get your contact details.
2. People going to find your location but your address rather than a Google Map.
3. Going to a contact page people are looking more to contact people rather than view the location of the store on a Google maps.
I will have a more in depth look latter and let you know.
