[Looking For] Custom Product Filtering Solution(see details)

Hello Opencart community,
I don't know if such an extension exists already, or if it can be custom developed. Anyway I will try my best to describe what we are looking for:
The ideal would be as following: when a user clicks a menu category (not available for all categories, but only for the ones selected by the admin) he will be prompted to answer several aspects regarding his desired product,ideally through a non-invasive pop-up or other graphical pleasing solution. Basically it would be a step-by-step filtering of products from a category. Eg. I select the "Smartphones" category, then i am asked to pick from a list/dropdown/checkbox/etc what operating system i prefer; next i am asked what memory size i prefer, finally i am asked what screen size i prefer. After I answer all of these I will have a list of the products in that category that fit into my selected range.
I hope I made it clear of what our requirements would be for such an extension. If anyone knows of such an extension in the Directory, please do point it out. Alternatively, if there is any developer who thinks this is doable, please let me know so we can get in touch.
