I moved my website from one domain to another and I modified both config.php files but any new order or customer are created on the old domain
please help

That shouldn't happen

But just to clarify, when you say it is created on the old domain, do you mean that you are still running a store under the old domain as well as the new domain and orders are appearing in the old domain's admin control panel ?

If so, then you most likely haven't updated the database settings

yes that is what im saying and i think i should update the database setting but i dont know how.
can you please tell me what to do

I'm assuming you have a new database set-up for your new domain/store ?

If so, you need to edit the settings in your config.php and admin/config.php files

Database Name
Database Username
Database Password

i did change both config files in my domain folder if that what you mean.
now i need to make the database changes.
do you know how?

So you changed the vqlue for the database in the config.php and admin/config.php

If so, then the store should be posting order data etc to the new database, not the old one.
