Problem with icons display in journal 2

Hello everyone, I am using opencart 1.5.6.4 with the journal2 theme. The icons of buttons add to cart, search, scroll to top and some other icons that are next to about us etc. links do not display. What should I do? Thanks!

You'll need to provide a little more information to help diagnose the issue. As a starter, are you viewing the site using the same TLD (Top Level Domain) as your config file. If your view your Journal theme site via the 'www.' TLD (eg http://www.myopencartstore.com) but your config file is set to http://myopencartstore[dot]com (with the www) this can cause the icon fonts not to render.

my developer couldn't get it fixed
