We are pleased to announce the release of a nice little mod which allows customer to download downloadable products free of charge without login or registration and checkout. VQMOD required.

How it works
Where the product has a downloadable file attachement and the price is set to zero (i.e. free product) the button "Add to Cart" will:
- change on the product page from "Add to cart" to "Download". By clicking the button downloading will begin.
- change on all other pages from "Add to cart" to "Details" and will redirect the customer to the product page.
For installation you need to unzip content and put an .xml file in the vqmod/xml forlder.
This mod was created and tested for OpenCart 1.5.6.4 with VQMod 2.5.1
