Google can't see content in modules.

Well I am using Journal 2 theme on OC1.5.6.4.

The problem is that when my site's home page appears in search rankings the meta description under the search link is

"Sign-up for our Newsletter", Loading.., Loading...."

Now this is strange because,

1. I have store description entered and filled in at Sytem>Settings> Store tab.
2. The newsletter module is in the footer, and there is a lot of content in the actual body of the page, such as customer reviews, categories, products, and none of them is read by google.

Any ideas?
