All test orders are shown as "Cancelled Orders". My only payment option is PayPal and it works i get the order notification from them fine. Can someone help me?

Try changeing defult order status inside paypal exstention in admin?

Not only from PayPal but also to ensure each store settings from your admin - > systems - > settings are properly configured with the proper order statuses results in order to see the right comparison between your stores and your payment gateway / offline payment processing.
