Really annoying problem. this should illustrate the issue;
Product Name Model Unit Price Quantity Total
Anti-Cellulite Shorts HRMT-CP £35.00 2 £70.01
Sub-Total £58.34
VAT (20%) £11.67
Total £70.01
What the hell?
Is this a VAT issue do you think? The amount I've inputed Ex Tax: £29.17, but the problem is the same for all products.
I have searched the forum and Google but no exact matches.
Its a Calculation issue
The price if you add 20% to 58.34 you get 70.008 which will be rounded up to 70.01 . To get 70.00 the price would need to be set to 58.33338

If you buy product it seems fine, its when you buy 2 so in this case for one of the shorts:

Which appears to be correct.
You add in the second pair and the total gets the additional 1p
We want to sell these at £35, if you use a VAT calculator in take off the 20% you get £29.17 is that not EXACTLY the answer?

Its still a calculation error when trying to calculate with 2 decimal places it is not very accurate
for a product to be £35.00 the price with out tax needs to be 29.16669 not 29.17.
I have a calculation to take the Tax away which is Full price inc vat - 16.6666% that will give you the correct price excluding VAT
EG for £35
16.6666% of £35 is 5.83331
35-5.83331= 29.16669

The system wont do this for me though buddy, and what happens with 2 of one product, 2 of another 3 of another at checkout, there must be a setting somewhere to get rid of this. There must be a fix for this to round the totals ?
Has noone has this problem before, is it only my install, surely that can't be the case?
