Hi, I find something odd or wrong in Google tools indexing method, see one example below:
I get in Crawl Errors > Site Errors > URL Errors > Not found >
URL: http://www.mydomain.com/category.php?id_category=29
but this category does not exist at all -I checked the admin side, oc database and sitemap.xml file but this url is just not there -I also create new sitemap.xml every 15 days
(one funny thing is why is the above url in this format when I have seo enabled(rewrite on) and all links are changed to proper category, product name and manufacturer name, in fact I do not have a single non-seo url on the site)
More...Now when I see the tab > Linked from: it give me 2 urls:
http://www.mydomain.com/product.php?id_product=2
http://www.mydomain.com/category.php?id_category=17,
again both these urls are not present anywhere on the site, so from where does GT pick up these errors, there are about 100 such "Not Found" errors and almost all are non-existent on the site so how to get rid of these errors please advice.
PS: just for testing I picked one random error url and placed in the Google Index > Remove url to see if this goes away but after about 7 days I see that again GT gives me the same url as error.
Any advice on this will be very helpful......Thank You for your time.

Edit: today google tools gave these error links:
1. http://www.mydomain.in/category.php?id_ ... erway=desc, (now in the whole site I do not have any id_category=3, and what is orderby=quantity and orderway=desc ?)
2. http://www.mydomain.in/order.php?ipa=24, (I don't know what is ipa=24 ?)
3. http://www.mydomain.in/index.php?_route ... s&n=10&p=3, (what is n=10 and p=3 ?)
4. http://www.mydomain.in/index.php?_route ... olate.html,
(the biggest joke of all is that I do not sell this item so no question of listing it)
The thing to worry about is that from where is google getting these errors and how to get rid of them for ever ?

No answer to this for 40-50 days, am I the only one having this problem or people here have become so selfish and self-centered that they do not want to help, what is the matter ??.
I am not ready to believe that I am the only one getting this error, I am sure many other users also must have faced this same issue.

It would really help if you provided your domain name. Hard to make a blind guess at these things.

These URLs are possibly in the URL table of the database from modules you used to have. They don't always get deleted when you remove a module.
Also, it's always a good idea to provide your domain with questions like this.

PLUS: I am not sure, if SEO Links (for Google!) should contain Points '.'

Most off the urls are present in oc when using default template and not using the seo urls.
Just dont worry about these links, they probaly wont show up in real search results.
Id they keep bugging you, just use a rewrite rule with a 301 redirect for each entry you find, and redirect to products you want to promote more.
