I have tried to search a picture with the Image manager search box. Even with an exact match it does not return any results. Does anyone know how to use the search option.

Are you sure you have your images in the new image/catalog folder not in the old 1.5 folder which would have been image/data folder

when you click on the the image manager it should show you any images or sub folders in the current folder, it sounds like your opencart is not finding anything there.

It is case sensitive and you need to search inside the specific folder.
