Old worldpay payment gateway for OC 2.0.3.1

Hi

Is anyone aware of an extension which will run the old worldpay payment gateway (so payments can be taken on worldpay) on oepncart Version 2.0.3.1? i have looked but cant find one on opencart, they are all too old or for direct/xml.

or is anyone aware of talk to include the old payment gateway as a standard extension for opencart Version 2.0.3.1 +

the issues for me with the new worldpay set up is that the secure iframe included is not responsive and is a pain to use (whereas on existing website, which isnt responsive, when you get to worldpay it is responsive so easier to make payment) and i think this will put people off

the other issue is that although the iframe is secured with ssl at worldpay, the customer cannot see this so you have to purchase an ssl certificate to instill confidence.

these two points arent really selling it to my client! the are having to pay more to use a system that is harder to use and may put customers off

also, as mentioned in another post, my upgrade to opencart Version 2.0.3.1 did not install the new worldpay tables which i have had to add myself, but admin for worldpay still doesnt work (i have to change settings via phpmyadmin)

anyone aware of moves to make a worldpay gateway extention for Version 2.0.3.1?

i have a new, responsive Version 2.0.3.1 OC site but the only available worldpay extension is for the new worldpay online

problem with this is that when you use the worldpay iframe in your website when you purchase via mobile it is tricky completing the form to the point that its not usuable

as such i have had a site ready to go live for months now, but cant... i really wasnt expecting the worldpay extension change (not sure why this was done!), everything else when quite well

i was thinking of using sagepay form instead, but this isnt available for OC2 either!

Some more information...

you have 2 display options when you install worldpay online for OC2 - modal view and inline view. if you set it to modal view a button displays that you click to open a pop up window where you can enter your card details. The problem with this is that the pop up window opens in a bad place, see attached, it's opening at the bottom of the page and pushing content down, looks odd and messy, doesnt instill confidence, i wouldnt feel to safe/happy using it, so, as such, it's just not usable.

the other option mentioned above is inline, when you choose this option you get the issues i have noted above in other thread posts.

also, whether using modal, or inline, the payment forms are in an iframe, the code is scecure (its sourced from secure worldpay servers), but you cant see this, it just looks like an unsecured form. the old gateway method is better as you are taken to wordlpay to make payment and it all works fine and feels/looks secure

the only way to remedy this is to purchase an ssl cert, but this seems a waste of time and money, when you only need it for cosmetic purposes.

all a bit odd really, i cant understand why they didnt stay with gateway, or have both options, techs at worldpay said they prob wont stop gateway for years and years, have no plans to

it's someone at OC that has made the decision to do this, it wasnt forced on opencart by worldpay
