Many Categories

Hi folks, I appreciate your help if I can guide a project. I have a client who has a lot of categories and subcategories within these have their. And achieve all that work load but is very anti visually aesthetic. There is an option to be displayed at the start of only the most outstanding home and then deploy the rest.
This project is focused on auto parts and the search starts from the make of the car then subcategories convehiculo shows the model and create a filter that search for compatible products. This is the way they use business management system for attention to the public.

I think this can be solve by loading only top parent categories at start. when customer click on each categories then load sub categories of that parent categories, and so on
