multimerch core

Hoping someone can help me out with installing multimerch core. I've been working on this for several days and just can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

I'm using OpenCart 2.0.3.1, Multimerch Core 7 (7.1.2) and VqMod OpenCart 2.5.1 and am running the installation locally on MAMP for Windows.

I've done a clean install with default theme, made sure VqMod is installed and have downloaded and extracted Multimerch. I've taken the 5 folders out of the Multimerch upload folder and have tried placing them several places. I've placed them in the OpenCart install folder, have created a multimerch folder in the main OpenCart directory and have tried placing the multimerch_marketplace folder in the opencart directory. None of these has resulted in the multimerch module showing up in my opencart admin where it's supposed to be.

I'm assuming my problem is that I'm just not placing the multimerch folders in the right place. out of frustration I posted several days ago on the multimerch support forums with no luck and I'm hoping someone here could help me getting this installed correctly.

is the place, to assist you, when it comes to SUCH OC Enhancements, and their problems.
But even they will NOT make you rich quick, by acting 'fast', and 'free', on, what you possibly expect.
Or then, you'll ask them for professional Support. (That's, why they offer this free Version, for Testers!)

In addition, those OC Users, using such, don't usually come here, to get others 'going'
Real Life is a highly competitive environment, so, don't expect too much, for free! Not even
around here, where lot's of it costs actually nothing! At least, if one know's, how to 'adapt', and
handle it, in case, it does not 'match' the 'existing' Setup!)
