Here is my goal- to modify the top menu. As of now I have one category that will only have one product (I am service oriented), so I would like to put that product/service in the top menu. Any tips to accomplish this? Extensions, location of where the code for the top menu is, etc.?

I appreciate the help!

You'll find some Mod's in the Extension Section to add links to the TOP MENU Bar.

http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... nu%20Links

If you look inside of the VqMod's, you will find out, where the modifications are made made, in the OC Software, related to linking Top Menu located Stuff.

Otherways, you have to to inform about your OC-Version, to get further help.

Hi,
I have an extension that can do this. Check it:
http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... n_id=22304
and check the demo:

It was initially written for a pizza site where some categories are with only 2 or 3 products.

Another option is to not use the top menu at all and add your product directly with a module on the home page.
But if you want to add to the top the product and some other links as about us, terms or contact you have to use an extension or write the code by yourself.
