This is my first time posting as I am new to the forum. I have searched the tutorials and can not find an answer to the problem I am facing so I am hoping to get some direction on here.
I am working with OpenCart 1.5.6.4 my site is almost ready and I am currently uploading product into my site. I have plenty of extensions that I have installed and have them working just fine.
The problem is I would like to be connected to the dropshipper that I am working with to maintain a current inventory. The merchant has provided live links to Data Feeds/Files of live inventory, and out of stock merchandise available for integration to my system.
I am just completely lost as to HOW to integrate these live links onto my website to keep my inventory connected to the merchants live inventory. This is my first time working with configuring a website so I am just learning. If anyone has any knowledge with this I would really appreciate any help at all possible.
Thanks so much.

There are several csv/xml import extensions, some with external feed and cron support. Try the OpenCart extension store using these search terms.

Thanks!

This Fellow here seems to some kind of Specialist for such matters. MaxD is his Username around here, and he offers some Mod's in the Extension Section as well, some of them very very expensive...

In ukrainian/russian OC Forums, he seems to be more present, one may find some information under the 'OC PARSER' Keyword, in the Web. Just to mention it!

@ IP_CAM… The definition of a support Forum refers to a plethora of services by which enterprises provide assistance to users of technology products such as mobile phones, televisions, computers, software products or other electronic or mechanical goods. In general, technical support forums attempt to help the users solve specific problems with a product rather than providing training, customization, or other support services.

With that being said, and after having viewed other threads within this forum, I am sure that everyone, including you, is here to see if anyone else has the same issue that he/she is having and possibly chat to gain any knowledge or help each other at solving it.

You have implied that I downloaded free Software and had no investment in my own venture! Well here’s to “Just Being Real” as you put it… I have NOT downloaded or used ANY FREE Software, templates, CUSTOM Mod's, extensions, support, or hosting platforms.

You said, “Don't take it personally, it's just, how real business works, even on the web!” I don’t take anything personally unless one is falsely misrepresenting my intentions, in which you are. For your information I have my MBA and have worked for Corporate America for 10+ years (yes, educated and possess common sense

By the way… Don’t take it personally, you just needed to know!

But thank you for your constructive help.

Mostly, such posts remain unanswerred, many per day. But sometimes, idiots like me try to reply, in a way, to leave, at least, a kind of impression, that someone was thinking about it. That's all. Take it, or leave it, it's just the way, it works, as per my personal impression, after spending 16 Months here.

But just don't take ANYthing personally, it's just not worth it

I've a decent experience with imports so don't hesitate to ask away. I'm in the middle of too much work already or I would have offered more substantial help. But I visit the forum frequently during my smoke breaks

Thanks!
I purchased a GREAT product import extension! It imports any number of products in literally 2 seconds! So I got that taken care of. I think I'm going to do a local search for a developer to aide in my inventory feeds if I can't find an extension that I like.
