Cannot access admin

I set up OC for a friend to use for his products and all was working OK.

Today I find that when he (or I) try to access admin the following message appears

Make sure that the file startup.php OpenCart want to include is actually there or have the right permissions

Thanks rupa - I found the problem - it was a corrupt config file in admin.

Now I just have to figure out how to change the admin password in the database ( friend has gone away having given me the wrong admin password).

Anyone know what the 'salt' is??

Hello! what's up guys, i have almost the similar problem but i don't understand it.
