Opencart Payment module

Hi, i would like to build an opencart payment module for my store, the payment module i am currently using is only supported in 1.5 .. Is there a way i can upgrade this module or i have to create a new one

you will need experience with PHP to convert the 1.5 payment module to a 2.x payment module. First thing to note, $this->data has been changed to $data, and a few other things. Do a compare on the payment modules in OC 2.x and you can see the difference.
