Order Status Update Notify Tick Box Doesn't Work

Hello, i notice a lot of people having this problem. The email system works perfectly for me. The problem is that notify tick box isn't working. Customer gets notified no matter if the "Notify Customer" tick box selected or not. I had read that on v2.0.2.0 version has been fixed and i would appreciate if you give me the code that would fix it. I don't want to update my website to beta version only because of that.
Also i have problem in Account -> My Orders -> Order Status Comments. The comments don't appear. Attaching picture of it.
Please comment only solutions, i believe it would help for everyone who has Opencart v2.0.1.1 version installed. Thank you in advance!
