The Font Awesome icons show up as blank squares and weird characters whenever I view my website URL using the www however, they show up fine whenever I access my URL without the www.

I appreciate any help on that.
You should edit file config.php and admin/config.php, change all non-www URL to www URL.

Thank you, it worked for the url with www but now if I access the url without the www the fontawsome display as weird characters.
It looks like that I have to figure out how to redirect the non-www URL domain name to the www URL.
