Shipping Module, Like the Free Shipping Module

Hi All,

I am based in the UK and use Royal Mail for shipping. But my rates are flat. So basically I would like to be able to a shipping that is named Royal Mail 48 Hours and is just a flat rate that I enter. I would also like to the same for Royal Mail 24 Hours.

Another choice I want is to the have again, but with the TRACKED ID feature enabled. Has anyone come across a shipping module that works like this? It has to be flat rate and not based on weight or price.

If you want something a little more straightforward, you could get Multi Flat Rate Shipping instead.

For the tracking feature for Royal Mail, I'm not aware of any extension that does that, but there could be one on opencart.com. If not, you may need to have a custom modification written for you.

If you need to find a developer, I recommend you post a request in the OpenCart "Commercial Support" forum, which is checked by a number of OpenCart developers. You can also try checking out the OpenCart "Partners" area if you haven't already.

Thanks for post. This does look like it can work however, it displays the options under a heading named Weight Based Shipping. Is it possible to change this header to say "Royal Mail" ?

Yes.. any text can always be changed.

For Weight Based Shipping, the specific language file you are looking for is:

/catalog/language/english/shipping/weight.php
