Images problems

Can anyone help please.
If I add any additional images into opencart they do not display as I would expect. There is no thumbnail for them only an error, I tried installing an extension that suggested it might fix this but on further reading I realised all it did was add the thumbnail for the main graphic.



Can anyone suggest a fix please (open cart 5.1.1)

I am open to installing an extension if it's a good one
