Boxed Theme - control panel

Hi all,
This is a bit of a long shot but I'm using the Boxed theme for my store and there should be a 'customize theme button' located at the bottom of your store front end which shows when i'm also logged into the admin panel. However, this button is not showing on the front end for me - does anyone have any idea why this could have happened?
