Hi all,

I've installed 2.0.1.1 in a sub-directory install under our main site on a VPS - it would have helped if the install page instructions said to delete the install directory BEFORE telling you to log in with the new admin ID, instead of telling you to do it afterwards.

I managed to install the vQMod package referred to in the installation guide.

Since then I cannot get any extensions to upload via the Extensions Installer, the error I get in the popup warning screen is -

Internal Server Error

Internal Server Error

<HTML>

<TITLE>500 Internal Server Error</TITLE>
</HEAD><BODY>
<H1>Internal Server Error</H1>
The server encountered an internal error or
misconfiguration and was unable to complete
your request.<P>
Please contact the server administrator to inform of the time the error occurred
and of anything you might have done that may have
caused the error.<P>
More information about this error may be available
in the server error log.<P>
<HR>

Web Server at mydomain.com

</BODY>
</HTML>

There is nothing in the server logs, nor in the opencart error logs ... to be it sort of looks like a permissions issue, but I've checked the site's folders (all at 755) and can't see any punative restrictions in place.

Does anyone have a clue what may be triggering this?
I have a beligerant boss on my back wanting to know when his webstore will be up and running :(
Thanks

Update with a bit more background to the above problem ...

- In System - Settings - Store - FTP - the FTP settings are as per the domain's FTP-user on the VPS, and are enabled.

- In /vqmod/pathReplaces.php the path has been reset for the renamed /admin/ folder (I can't find a similar file for the ocmod equivalent - is there one?).

- In /vqmod/pathReplaces.php the path has been reset for the renamed /theme/mytheme/ folder (I can't find a similar file for the ocmod equivalent - is there one?).

- I've checked all folders and files permissions and they're all at 644 and 755 as appropriate.

I've checked the server log and there is an error corresponding to each attempt to upload an extension, which all look like this -
- mod_fcgid: HTTP request length 138970 (so far) exceeds MaxRequestLen (131072), referer: http://mydomain.com/shopname/adminfolde ... bfuscated)

Resolved

The source of the server 500 error is an insufficient file maximum limit for uploads set in both fcgid.conf (server-side) and php.ini (httpdocs) and in hosting account PHP limits.

If you do a Google search using the core error in your server error log, you will find the instructions for what to do about it.
