Journal 2 upgrade 2.4.8

Hi,
I have upgraded opencart to 2.0.1.1 and after a lot of help from forum members I have solved some teething problems.

However, I have also upgraded my Journal theme to 2.4.8 and am having more problems. The admin side all seems fine and I can use the deafualt template fine. When I select the Journal 2 template I get a blank home page. I know this is a big question but does anyone know where to start with this problem?

Found this in my error log:
[Fri Mar 06 15:25:06 2015] [error] [client 87.236.142.121] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined method Action::getMethod() in /home/7/7/1/4313/4313/public_html/system/journal2/startup.php on line 83

Some one has fixed this for me. Apparently upgrading to opencart 2.0.... From 5...... Can cause problems and the whole lot had to be reinstalled.
