Install more than 1 theme?

Hi!Please forgive me if this is posted twice. I thought I posted a new topic but couldn't find it.

I've googled my issue and searched the forum but couldn't find an answer. I'm new to Opencart and I purchased a theme that is now installed. I purchased a different theme yesterday and want to install this one. Can both themes be installed at the same time and I switch back and forth in the admin area? Or does the first one have to be uninstalled first before I can install the new theme?
