I've recently purchased the Ultimate Shipping and Individual Shipping extensions in hopes to achieve the following:
2 products added to cart.
Product 1 (Does not need UPS Individual Packages setting for such a small part)
Qty: 10
Weight Each: 1 lb.
Dimensions (In.): 2 x 2 x 2
Product 2 (Needs UPS Individual Packages to reflect dimensional aspects)
Qty: 1
Weight Each: 31
Dimensions (In.): 48 x 48 x 10
On checkout, with UPS Individual Packages toggled to "yes", Product 1 has a shipping cost of over $130 (should be approximately $12.50), while Product 2 is reflected accurately at a rate of $156. With UPS Individual Packages toggled to "no", Product 2 only has a shipping cost of $28 (should be $156) while Product 1 is reflected accurately at a rate of $12.50. I've tried several scenarios of utilizing Individual Shipping and Ultimate Shipping individually and in conjunction with each other, and I cannot seem to figure out a resolve. I could have the shipping estimate show the results in the Individual Shipping format, or have the correct totals of both products shown as a total. Does anyone have any advice for me?
Thanks
It's unlikely anyone in the forums will be able to assist you with specific issues in my extensions. Please contact me at the e-mail address in the extension files, or the "contact" link in the extension description (www.getclearthinking.com/contact), for support with extension issues.
You can override settings in Individual Shipping before requesting the quotes, so my suggestion would be to switch the "individual packages" setting off for Product 1, and back on for Product 2. I can describe how to do this if you don't understand how to do that, and want to send me an e-mail.
