Figured this out on my own. incorrect path name in ftp settings under Settings... thanks anyway everyone.

have been using the export/import extension by JNeuhoff with great success. I also have a fresh install of the latest OC v2x with nothing else installed - no extensions, nothing - I install the export/import it works right up until I have to assign the permissions, and the items do not show up on the lists for permission assignment.
What I need to accomplish, regardless of whether I use this extension to do it or not, is to import an xls spreadsheet with all my products (about 115 but with sizes and other options) which was generated with this extension, or I will be forced to rebuild all my products by hand in my fresh install store.
No response from the forum topic for this extension, so I'm here and I'm willing to pay someone if I can get a quote... Tell me what you need to know to quote me and we'll take it from there...
Are you sure it's not in the list, or just not where you expect to see it? Assuming this extension is intended for 2.x, if you can get to the module page (even with permission errors), there is no reason it should be missing from the permissions list. I'd be happy to take a quick look at no charge if you PM store admin access.
