On my site there is point out a google analytics message, claiming I should enter the script to the config page.
http://www.wetronic.nl
Well, I have the script code so I've added it to the config page.
It stores the code in the database, but the message on top of the site stays.
Going back to the config page, the code is not saved.
In about 10 times it saves 1 only once, unfortanly when I make a change to the settings it's lost again. And it's a real pain in the ass to get the code back in. Also the template setting sometimes jumps back to default.
It looks like it's not reading in from the database correctly. The code in database is just fine and all the info is there.
Somehow the script to pick it up is not working as it should be?
Also when you look up the code in google, you'll find a lot of other opencart 2.0 installs with the same issue.
this bug is affecting several settings in the configuration of the shop
-Default template
-Shop address
-Affiliate direct payout
-Google Analytics.
SOLVED:
The problem is in the cache files, located at \system\cache\
Delete all the cache files manually by FTP and it's possible to change the info in the config panel again.
