Newsletter Sign Up Modules

Wondered if anyone can recommend a good newsletter Sign Up Module that can be configured to link to any external mailing list.

Mailchimp ... great newsletter utility / list management, easy to add in a signup form in a side column etc, plugins available to work from customer account area to MC as well. Plus the fact that if you have a small send per month, the first
12k of emails to 2k of subscribers is free.
