Is it somehow possible to create a dropdown option in the top navigation filled with the Brands

It's only the text and not the images. Just like the normal categories drop down but now filled with the brands.
And if possible, it would be great when the dropdown is filled dynamically with the brands.

Yes, I will create a extension to add brands in the top menu.

Hi, Really thanks for willing to create an extension!!

But I probably will create a workaround with extra categories because I can add extra information to a catagory. I noticed that it's not possible to add a description to a brand, and some brands really need additional information.

disadvantage is that for avery brand I will have to create an additional catagory but the advantage is that SEO terms will find the additional catagory description.

But I can immagine that other people will be happy with the brand feature in the top navigation
