Hi, this forum has been really useful over the last couple of years! I'm hoping someone can help.....

We need to be able to prevent all international countries from checking out a couple of aerosol based products (mainly due to postal laws, preventing us from shipping aerosols abroad!) I've found a reliable UK - UK courier, so that is all ok. However, I am stuck on how to prevent checkout from other countries.

We currently used Weight Based Shipping which we find gives us the best flexibility in offering the best postage prices across all our products.

Any help / advice is very very much appreciated

You could use product geo zone limitation: http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... n_id=20390

That should do what you need, it will prevent checking out if they selected an address outside the geo zone you set.

You can use my MX Shipping Master extension to specify any logic, like "do not give this shipping method for aerosoles".
