Hi guys,

We are currently running a small shop with a different provider. Since we are expierencing more and more problems lately we are consindering switching to a new system (i.e. Opencart). We have installed OpenCart 2.0 on a test server and played around quite a bit.

While we are not having a huge list of requirements there is kind of an important must-have for us which I haven't found anything so far in this forum nor in the documentation. We need to export products frequently to our webserver so that 3rd party price comparison tools can pick them up.

Now we have installed the import/export module which is fine for exporting data to an xls file. Can anybody shed some light if what we need can be achieved with opencart?

Thanks.
Daniel

Is there really no ftp-export available?

Maybe this is something for you:
http://www.opencartmanager.com/product- ... -features/

But doesn't the standard OC Product Feeds work for what you want ?

@R_D thanks a lot for the link. Also I haven't looked into feeds deep enough. This might indeed something be to work with. Thank you.

You can automatically upload file to your FTP, indicating correct access details. Very useful option in case you need to remotely provide access to the file to partner or some third-party company.
Tool available on OpenCart Extensions Store -
