Upgrade Question

I have played with 2.0 a little, and like the backend, but was wondering what the major reasons for going to 2.0 instead of remaining with 1.5.6.4? Reason for asking is I tried doing a test upgrade and it didn't go so well, so it would require me to do a lot of things manually. If it is worth doing it I can live with doing the manual stuff, but don't want to unless I have to.

OpenCart 1.5.6 hasn't reached end of life yet. Unless you have a pressing need to upgrade it's okay to wait for 2.0 to mature.
