Top categories bar: bigger font size + extra sublevel ?

Q1) I would like a bigger font for the displayed categories in the top menu

Q2) How to get an extra category sublevel? I only see one possible sublevel.

A bigger font for the displayed categories in the top menu will be changed in the stylesheet.css.
