First, congratulations for version 2 of OC!
In this version I noticed that management of position (layout) of modules are extracted from extension and now it is doing from System->Design->Layout. This change is very comfortable for users, but does not give a chance to add some actions in Home for example. Every of us (extension developers) frequently need for execute actions like clearance, notifications and so on and until version 2 we can do this with hidden adding of extension of Home or other layouts. Did you predict a way to do this in version 2? If not, I suggest to trigger specific event in front controller.
