Placed a banner module at the top (banner 1) and an image in the banner module (frontpage) - banner module doesn't display image on 'Home' layout. Seems the modules part of OC2 default template is very quirky - is there an update in the pipeline?

It was rumoured that a release is imminent
There are/were many bugs with 2.0.0.0 - Many of which have been fixed.
Banners, Carousel and Slideshow have all been replaced with different scripting

I hope it is true because I'm holding off launching live as I am not confident with OC2.0 but as a newbie to e-commerce and web I cant afford any more time to and learn about OC1.5
The forums don't seem very active regarding 2.0 either

It's a new beast. Many people who know how OpenCart release tend to work will have been waiting to see what problems (as there invariably are many ) with the new release.

May it be soon - because too much time and energy goes into setting up a site only to be retarded by the tool you are using - Even though OC is open source and free to download - it is far from free - have spent quite a lot of money on opencart so far - If the base product was more efficient and stable I would be a lot happier

Ive had the same problems with the banners. I love OC and OC 2.0 but the bugs gotta go.
Anyone know where I can pick up a fix for the banners. I cant find out where the problem is.
I have dug all in the source and cannot find it anywhere. No errors.
