hi
I have purchased this site and spent quite a while adding products and categories, stiil quite a lot to do,but would be grateful for some feedback, also i asked if i can back this site up on my pc and he replied
"There is no back-up facility with your package, but rest assured the server does retain back-ups should there be any unforeseen hardware failure."
which worries me even though he has been really helpful so far.
thanks for any feedback in advance

First impression is a nice basic opencart store.
It is very quick. That is a big plus. In fact, faster then a lot of opencart stores I have seen so whatever you are doing or whatever you are hosted on is great (I am envious).
I would recommend SEO URLs.
Other then that it is a nice site but overall strikes me as plain. Which doesn't mean it is bad, but just stating how it strikes me.

I would work on a few things - including seo urls as already mentioned and I agree, it is very plain. Especially for creative products like yours, I would work on a more creative, colorful design overall.
1. Consistency. You have titles in ALL CAPS and Mixed Case. Decide on one or the other and keep it consistent thruout. Mixed Case is always easier to read.
2. Clean up your product names. Honestly they read like ebay auction titles where you are trying to cram every possible keyword in them. Make them readable for humans, not keyword stuffed (seo urls are a better way to include keywords).
3. Clean up your product descriptions. The font is too large and looks like you are SCREAMING at your customers. Again, it looks like you've copied stuff from ebay. Write them into readable paragraphs focusing on the benefits for the customer and how your products are unique. Centered text is generally not as easy to read as flush left. Odd colors popping out at you in the descriptions distracts from the product, so if you want to use a color, use one that ties into your theme, not bright red that really grabs your attention too much.
4. Get rid of the "send us a message to tell us what you want" things in your descriptions and learn how to use product options so customers can choose up front what they want. I guarantee you will have people not reply and tell you their choices and it really looks unprofessional. You can do everything I saw using options built in to opencart. A few of your products seem to have text box options, but not all. Again, be consistent.
5. Remove empty boxes & things you don't need. Either set up Bestsellers and Specials or remove them for the page. Looks unprofessional to have empty modules. Doesn't look like you are using brands so remove their links.
6. Clean up anywhere you have "default" text like on categories: "Here you can include details of the category, add some keywords and provide additional information." again, screams you are new or unprofessional.
7. Where do you ship? How long does shipping take? How long to personalize and ship your products? How does someone contact you for help? All of this should be on your product pages where people can see them when they come from a search.
All in all, it's a good start, but you have a way to go to look professional.

The left menu would look better if all its items were one liners! Overall a good looking website
