Few issues I have found on new installation on OC2

Hi All/ OC admin,
few days back I downloaded the latest version of OC and installed. I am thinking of using the new version for my next project but found some issue that needs to be fixed first. I am not sure if others noticed those or not and if those are already taken care off. I searched but didnt got any solution for my probs till now. I will be glad if someone redirect me to there, if these issues are solved, if not, please consider helping me to solve.
issue1.
sales>order> click 'edit' on any order
there are 5 tabs (steps) to edit the order. After doin all editing I required, I came to the last step, Totals. Here where the order details are given, two fields: shipping method and payment method are marked mandatory. I select the shipping method and the payment method is selected by default and I hit 'save' to save my changes.
To my surprise, I get an warning msg "Payment method required!" in red and my changes do not save. Then I hit the refresh button alongside the payment method text box, payment option do not changes (may be i have only cod enabled), I again hit save and this time I get a javascript error message "SyntaxError: Unexpected end of input" and "OK". And no success message as it should. Then I again hit save and get another warning message " Products marked with *** are not available in the desired quantity or not in stock!" while there is no product marked with ***.

I get the same issue of javascript "SyntaxError: Unexpected end of input" and "OK" also in order>veiw>order history> add history.

There are few more. but I dont want to over burden.
