I'm looking to add a text box to the home page. My template previously had it and it got removed some how. I'm not sure where to go in my files to add it back. I do have my original files. Please help asap.

It looks like you have put it on an information page already

You should be able to put the welcome module on your homepage if that helps, without the need to modify any files.

in your Admin - Extensions - Modules => edit the Welcome module
