Order status update on the downloads section

Hi,
I'm using the downloads section quite a lot. One of my big problem is when I use it for my pre-orders.
All my pre-order orders are marked as pending and await a release date.

On release date currently im supposed to both add a product, then update the correct orders, then go to the orders window and update their status to complete.
I want to know if there is an extension that will add another button to the downloads window which will allow me to both update the order there AND change its status to complete.

Anything like that out there? Because I couldn't really find something.
