Error messages when registering as a new user

I just installed a fresh instance of Opencart 2.0.0 on a Unix server. The directory was empty in a new domain. This is the first install. I had few problems after the install. I couldn't access either the storefront or admin sections until the php.ini files were removed (I had to call my ISP's Tech Support to diagnose and fix). After these had been removed, I was able to login to both the storefront and admin areas. In the admin area I was able to navigate and create a couple of product categories. When I logged into the store and tried to create an account I ran into some problems. I created a jing video which shows what happened. The video starts at with me being at yahoo.com and then I enter the store URL. First thing is this error message before I do anything. It appears right above the checkout/cart/account/cart line.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try a complete new install please.

I deleted the entire directory on the server, made a new one, ftp'd the upload directory from my PC to the server, went through the configuration process (store/install), then opened the store and tried to register a new user. Encountered the same problem(s) as I did earlier.

A cgi-bin directory wasn't in the distribution.

No warnings or red-marks during installation?

No red flags or warnings during the install.

After the install was completed I had difficulty logging into both the store front and admin areas (INTERNAL SERVER ERROR). I contacted my ISP tech support and they diagnosed the problem to be the php.ini files. Once removed (two of them), I was able to login to both areas. I have no problem in the Admin area: I was able to create new categories, add a product, upload a logo and a few other things. I have been unable to do anything in the storefront.

I've decided to reject this product. It does me no good if a user can't register. I've provided detailed information and a video identifying the problem. While I appreciate the help that's been offered, it hasn't moved me any closer to a resolution. I will not and can not spend any more time spinning my wheels hoping that it'll get fixed.
