MPN for Product Options

I have products with Options for colour variations etc. and the Manufacturer supplies different MPN's for each colour variant. For GoogleBase, I can see how I would enter a MPN against the root product in the StoreAdmin panel, but how do you specify different MPN's for each colour variant/Options?
