Changing the defalt Blue color shading from the header to different color

Please help in changing the color of the default main page header from blue shading to orange shading. Also, how to change the color of the buttons appearing on the top.

Well! I have seen the posts and could not find the way I could change the blue color in the header area.

I have seen posts for changing the size of logo etc. but could not find what I want to do! Hence, the post.

Any specific pointers will be appreciated.

You also need to change the actual image file labelled 'background.png'.  Edit it in something like photoshop and keep the name the same.  If your site is already live you will need to replace the file on your site with the one you have updated.

Files located in catalogue/template/default/images I believe.  Play around with the other images too but keep the names the same otherwise you'll have to start changing a lot of code!
