Hi all,

I'm having some issues with both the W3C validator and Google Pagespeed.

Firstly, with Google Pagespeed, it simply does not work with the majority of my site. This is unusual as it used to work fine, and suddenly now it doesn't. I get an error with the homepage of the site, where it simply states:

"Decoding the main resource failed. Please ensure that the page loads properly in a browser."

The website loads fine in all browsers so this is very weird. Is this likely to affect the website through Google? And could anyone possibly give me any ideas as to what this may be caused by?

Also, with the W3C validator, I popped the homepage address in, and it brings back 701 ERRORS, and 107 WARNINGS?!
What is that about, why so many? It seems rather excessive... And are the two likely to be linked?

The homepage of the website is: http://www.designer-man.co.uk/

Thank you all for your time,

Regards,

You definitely have some coding issues - your quickviews come up blank for me for one thing and your line height needs adjusted in several places as lines overlap each other. I never could get pagespeed to respond when trying to view your site even, so not sure what the issues are there.

You might try changing your site to the default template temporarily and see if pagespeed reads it then. If so, you need to go back to the template creator and have them fix it or if you created it, start rechecking it section by section.

Running Opencart v3.0.3.9 with multi-stores and the default template from https://www.labeshops.com which has links to all my stores.
