New store comment when Admin staff places order

Hi,

for telephone/fax orders backend staff log into the frontend as the customer ("Login Into store" functionality) and process the order as the customer. I think it would be valuable if under this scenario (admin user xyz placing an order for customer abc) an automatic store comment was recorded with the order - "order processed by user xyz on date & time"

Thoughts?

Solved. A developer made me an extension to insert the identifying info into comments/order history when an admin places an order on customer's behalf.

I like this idea, I seem to remember a place I worked used a similar feature when they placed orders for a customer through admin although this was a different eCommerce system that they used.

Would you be able to share a link to the extension or the developer that did this for you? I would like to implement this in my store and a few others may.
