For security reasons the version nr. should be hidden/removed when you go to www.yoursite.com/admin - This to prevent hackers to see what version your site is running on.
I always run on the last version, but I have removed the version nr. anyways just in case. Ofcourse all should be running on last version, but we all know not all sites are always upgraded. Then after you log into /admin/ the version nr. has to be shown so adminuser see what version site is running on.
The same could maybe be done with the opencart logo in upper left corner too, just for the same reason to not show hackers - and wannabe-hackers what CMS the site is running on. Then after you log into adminpanel the logo can show up.
