Shipping module

Hi all,
At the minute I have a very basic system which shows the cart weight and a list of prices for all shipping methods.
Problems at the minute:
1) If item weighs 5kg it still shows unsuitable shipping methods i.e. 1kg, 2-5kg methods which is obviously pointless and confusing.
2) Doesnt take into account item size and as such some items cannot be carried by a certain courier but the system doesnt recognise this.

So what would be good is a module that linked parcel2go.com to my site and quoted using dimensions I have put in.
Or
Allow me to specify a postage option for each item rather than a general rule.
