I was wondering if I should upgrade from v1.4.4 to v1.4.6, and why?
I'm completly new to OC, and installed it first time about a week ago...
Yes, go ahead, but do make a back-up copy of your site including the database.
My suggestion is to edit the changed files. Use a text editor with a compare files function like Context editor.
This should take no more than a couple of hours.
When altering the database with a script do take note of your database name and database prefix. You can do the database part with Phpmyadmin.
